Without the proper enzymes, this will not occur. So, you can see, even if you eat well, you can become nutrient deficient, without proper enzyme supplementation, which continually worsens with age.

Another side affect, of non-digestion, are acidic shifts in blood ph. Normal blood ph is about 7.2. Acidic shifts or ph drops are regulated by calcium salt reabsorption from our bones. This is a normal regulatory process like insulin for lowering blood sugar. This manifests as Osteoporosis as the years pass and bone density decreases due to the calcium salt loss, used  as a buffering agent to maintain a normal blood ph.

 

        Undigested food rots, ferments and becomes rancid, which promotes microbial growth (parasites, fungus and bacteria) in the gut. This undigested decayed food builds up in the digestive tract, causing various gastrointestinal problems. You may have experienced some of the symptoms associated with gastrointestinal problems, such as acid or sour stomach, gastrointestinal pain, gas and diarrhea with problems like irritable bowel syndrome, leaky gut and acid reflux amongst others.

       Do yourself a favor, eat less protein, and eat more (a lot more) vegetables, avoid the wrong carbohydrates, drink more water (a lot more) water. Stop your high simple sugar intake. Supplements will never take the place of what you’re not getting in your diet.
